Explore the beauty of the Italian language through a structured and engaging program!At the Egyptian American Cultural Center (EACC), we proudly offer Italian Language Courses in partnership with Scuola Italiana, following an internationally recognized curriculum and methodology. Whether you're a complete beginner or working toward fluency, our courses are designed to meet your goals with 12 progressive levels from A1 to C1, using a fun, interactive approach focused on the four core skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking — with special emphasis on conversation.

Level Breakdown & Course Objectives

Objectives

  • Introduce yourself and others.

  • Ask and answer simple questions

              (e.g., about residence, family, time, daily life).

  • Understand and use everyday expressions and basic phrases.

  • Read simple texts and signs.

​Study Highlights

  • Greetings and introductions.

  • Numbers, dates, and weather.

  • Simple verbs in the present tense.

  • Basic vocabulary: food, directions, family, routines.

A1 – Beginner

Objectives

  • Communicate in routine tasks requiring simple and direct information exchange.

  • Describe in simple terms aspects of your background, immediate environment, and needs.

​Study Highlights

  • Talking about the past using Passato Prossimo.

  • Giving directions and making requests.

  • Understanding announcements and short articles.

  • Writing short messages and personal letters.

A2 – Elementary

Objectives

  • Deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling.

  • Produce simple connected text on familiar topics.

  • Describe experiences, dreams, hopes, and ambitions.

  • Narrating events in the past.

  • Talking about plans, preferences, and opinions.

  • Understanding main points in audio and video materials.

  • Developing argumentation and conversation flow.

B1 – Intermediate

Objectives

  • Understand the main ideas of complex texts.

  • Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity.

  • Produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of topics.

  • Subjunctive mood, passive voice, and conditional structures.

  • Analyzing articles, editorials, and debates.

  • Discussing abstract topics such as culture, politics, and media.

B2 – Upper Intermediate

Scuola Italiana

CELI

Scuola Italiana – in cooperation with Perugia University – presents the CELI “the Certification of Knowledge of Italian” which is the official title that denotes the knowledge of speaking Italian in daily situations.

The exam is elaborated from the European Group ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) in relationship with the Common European Framework of Reference for Language learning and teaching of the European Council. It is the daily life conversational Italian program that anyone can start from the intermediate to the advanced levels.

Siena

Scuola Italiana

CILS

Scuola Italiana – in cooperation with Siena University – presents the CILS “The Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language” which is the official title that denotes the degree of linguistic competency of Italian as a foreign language.The CILS is awarded by the University of Siena for Foreigners and is recognized by the Italian State on the basis of an agreement with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is the General Italian program that anyone can start from the very beginning to the advanced levels.
